My athletic background is not just in Bodybuilding or Powerlifting, although this is what I am most known for. I have been involved in both team and individual sports my whole life. As I grew older I learned to love individual sports as the outcome in these sports is based on your level of dedication and effort and less dependant on others.

I 1st began serious weight training at the age of 10 with my father and twin brother. 3 days a week we trained our whole body using equipment that my father had made by hand. I used to love those training sessions is one of my fondest memories growing up. After about 6 months my dad hurt his arm and so we stopped training. I loved it so much that I used to sneak in the basement to train when no one was around even though that was forbidden. I was always trying to set personal records in the bench press and by age 13 was already pressing 230 lbs weighing under 130 lbs.

What 1st sparked my interest in bodybuilding was actually an episode of that’s incredible where a 13 year old was competing in bodybuilding competitions. I remember saying that one day I would be a bodybuilder, everyone laughed because they knew how much I loved junk food and they figured there was no way I could handle a healthy diet. That just further motivated me and once I hit age 17 I new I was ready and entered and won my 1st competition. Winning further encouraged me and has lead to my having competed in over 30 competitions to date.
